Alexander Jordan Spieth
(/ s p i θ /; speeth; born July 27, 1993) is an American professional golfer on
the PGA Tour, and former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking.
He is twice as big winners and 2015 FedEx Cup champion. [1] In April 2016 Time
magazine named Spieth into the list of "100 Most Influential People",
noting that he "exemplifies everything that is great about the sport.
Spieth won his first
major at the Masters Tournament in 2015 with a score of 270 (-18), earning him
$ 1.8 million. Spieth tied 72-hole record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and became
the second youngest to win the Masters, behind Woods. He then won the 2015 US
Open with a final score of 5-under-par. [3] He is the youngest US Open champion
since Bobby Jones in 1923. He was followed by victory in the 2015 Tour Championship,
who won the 2015 FedEx Cup. At the 2016 Masters Tournament, Spieth suffered one
of the biggest collapses in the history of the event after leading by five
strokes halfway through the final round.
After getting a place
in the 2013 Presidents Cup team, Jordan Spieth Spieth started planning Charity
Fund. The fund provides awareness and financial support for special needs
children, military families and young golf.
